Army makes it clear ‘rats’ won’t be spared

But still what is being openly questioned by your lawmakers in parliament cannot be deemed a threat to national security, unless you're saying that your democratic parliamentary process is itself a threat to national security.
Every country has a bunch of fair share of its bad apples. Pakistan is no exception in this regards.

But leaking out unnecessary details to create panic and distress among large segment of population should be at all cost stopped

I read the entire article in Dawn.

No content in it could've created panic and distress in a large segment of Pakistan's population. I have many personal friends across the border, lot of them living outside Pakistan at present. Not one indicated any panic or distress due to the Dawn article.

I am afraid Your opinion or your take on this subject hardly matters. Evey thing leads to a chain reaction which has to be anticipated beforehand so it can be prevented from becoming a fireball at this time critical time.

Secondly, the Govt has distanced itself from the article and the writer himself was due to travel abroad after writing these piece. In this region of world, you only need a spark and rest of the aftermath will follow

Read your own statement carefully again.

Now open the dictionary and look for the meaning of the word paranoia.

I rest my case..

:-)

How about Your read the meaning of the word ''Obsession" first. A very common trait found in desperate Indians. Always poking their nose into something which remotely concerns them, but because of limited outlook and extreme obsession it is hard for them to look anything beyond Pakistan, a country 1/6 of their size.

It is customary for a person losing an argument to indulge in personal attacks.

Notice I didn't say all Pakistani people are paranoid. I didn't even say you are paranoid.

Merely asked you to read what you wrote again carefully and then open a dictionary and look for the definition of the word paranoia. That's all.

Not at all. since you provoked it. And there's nothing personal about this. I merely mentioned how typically Indian react here at Forum.

I understand your point, but I wasn't reacting or provoking anything. I was just commenting on how leaks of political meetings to the press are commonplace in India, and no one makes any hue and cry about it..

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has reportedly made it clear to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif corps commanders – during their recent meeting – emphasised that all characters found involved in leaking the security meeting’s minutes should be exposed.

The COAS also informed the premier that action would be taken against all those involved in sharing ‘details’ of the security meeting.

Reliable sources said the government had been exerting pressure on one of the close and old aides of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and an important supporter of Maryam Nawaz to take entire responsibility for the high-level security meeting’s leaks.

Due to this pressure, the “personality” has agreed to become an approver and spill the beans about the news publication saga and unveil all characters responsible for conveying notes of the important meeting to Cyril Alameda, the Dawn reporter. The person in question also has some disputes with Fawad Hasan Fawad, and he is a witness to the whole episode.

This has started causing immense problems for the PM’s daughter, Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid, senior bureaucrat Fawad Hasan Fawad and Secretary to Prime Minister Mohiuddin Wani.

Sources also disclosed that the government was ready to sacrifice Pervaiz Rashid, Fawad Hasan and Mohiuddin Wani to save its skin. Most in the government circles believe that these three personalities actually leaked the inside story.

Sources said that when the premier was leaving Islamabad for Azerbaijan, Fawad Hasan also reached PAF Base Nur Khan to accompany the PM, but just before the flight, Nawaz called him and told him to go back to the PM’s Secretariat.

The sources said that Fawad and Mohiuddin Wani were well aware of what is coming for them in the near future, as the government is keeping an eye on their movement. However, the investigators probing the matter have reached the actual developers of this game, sources added.

Thank you for sharing.

If Cyril doesn't feel that he didn't do anything wrong why is runing from Pakistan ? dar kis baat ka hey...kakay idhar he rah na agar tunay koi ghalat kaam nahe kiya lol
Was he really running out of Pakistan? Thought he wasn't and it was just a pre-empt and a hasty move by the govt.
