Army Chief's Extension & why it was necessary for Pakistan

Good thing the Prime Minister of Pakistan doesn't care about your opinion then. From your post it seems like you want an all out War and Pakistan Military to charge right across the LOC. Are we prepared for the Indian forces to open up a front in our southern eastern border? IMO The best course of action is through diplomacy, which is what the state institutions are pursuing since that option wasn't put to any use for the last 30 years or so.

Classic fanboy response. Not expected from a member of your stature.

Please identify what in my post made it seem like I want all out war? Only a retard / Mullah / Hindu fascist would want an all-out war. That is the last thing I want. Pakistan cannot afford all out war and senseless violence is the last thing we need. Since your entire premise for attacking me is false, I will try and move forward.

I, more than once, mentioned "clever / creative approaches" as a direct antithesis to all-out war. What this means is taking the intel war WAY more offensive and supporting the Kashmiri armed resistance with significantly better training/logistical support.

There is absolutely no precedent in modern history of these international bodies and diplomacy alone winning a separatist struggle / granting them autonomy / kicking out an illegal occupying force. The UN and OIC couldn't do jack shit about the concentration camps that are Gaza and the West Bank. The only language that works is legitimate violence against the oppressor COUPLED with this diplomacy. One without the other is useless. So, we are following a useless strategy. Just as we failed to hit any R&AW targets directly while our intel offices and officers were being hit left, right and center by R&AW-backed militants based in Afghanistan. Our fear of escalation has gotten to the point that we simply don't have a sub-conventional doctrine that makes sense anymore.

The entire premise of dissuading a ruthless enemy has to be based on RAISING THE COST for them and introducing a fear of consequences. This is not happening under our current reactionary and highly defensive posture. It is definitely achievable without an all-out conventional war, just as the Afghan Taliban (apparently with our support) frustrated NATO in Afghanistan.

The IOK issue, separate from the very important moral and nationalistic/emotional element, is of critical strategic importance because of our water security. Only the kind of approach that got us our nukes (which, by the way, is not the current approach of wishing that international bodies will save us --- in fact, it was the opposite: tricking them) can win us the "war" there.
