Are Hakeem and harees available in Pakistan?

I think you are a Pakistani..if Haleem of pak is that tasty why it isnt exported in big quantities to other countries like hyderabadi Haleem or harees..its like every region in India boasting nothing can beat their biryani when in fact they can't even be called biryani and pale and stale in comparison to Hyderabadi biryani.
have you tried both?

dude seems u ate wrong thing at both places !
I ate the one that is parcelled to ME forgot name of brand.. it did look white, not yellow. Is it something else? I might have tasted a different thing.

no offence but i prefer Lucknow Biryani .i agree with the rest.
hyderabadi biryani is sh*t... unless you eat like pig and want massive amount of rice.

Yeah it is a white thing..no I haven't tasted..but pak Haleem would have beaten hyderabadi one had it been tastier..you are a Pakistani,I made it out

Not in Pakistan but in Punjab primarily, Haleem is eaten with naan or bread. Sorry to say but eating Haleem with nan or bread is pretty insulting towards this dish. Haleem must be enjoyed on its own. Well, this reminds me that I should ask my wife to prepare some. Just few days ago I purchased excellent quality shanks and loin.

As far as Harees(a) goes, it is primarily a middle eastern cuisine that should also be enjoyed on its own like the Arabs do. However, we have adapted it to eat with naan, which is fine, it is just not the authentic way of eating it.

Nopes
that harees ( HAreesa) is different.

Harees is a cousin of Pakistani Haleem. It is thicker and more meaty !
But cooked differently.

No problem..I never tasted luck now I biryani; I can't judge..I tasted Bombay,Kerala biryani..my friends tasted Kolkata and Tamil nadu biryani..so I know nothing compared hyderabadi biryani.

Strange to see that nationalities are being discovered based on someone's preference for Indian and Pakistani haleem. Dishes based on meat (specifically beef) have evolved to next level in Pakistan. A wheel based on cutaway tree trunk, though original in concept, cant beat a wheel with Dunlop tire. Things evolve so do dishes.

white and semolina! cant IMAGINE WHAT IT MAY BE.
This is what a good haleem should look and feel like ;)

I learnt a new thing today that harees is a middle eastern dish..all these days I was thinking it is a hyderabadi cuisine like biryani(biryani originated in Hyderabad..I don't believe other theories of its origin as evidence heavily weighs towards Hyderabad)

both Biryani and haleem are Indian dishes. those who think otherwise should eat the Indian one and its so called Middle eastern counterpart together and know the difference.

Bhai you may be right, I may be wrong. However, I have been invited to eat Harees by my Arab friends. Harees is nothing but ground wheat with meat but not as spicy as the variety we have in Pakistan or India. Many dishes (especially meat -based) have reached to Indian sub-continent through Arabs, Persians, and Turks.
