I don't understand what's the mean of sending INS Godavari NOW? When PNS Babur is already escorting Mv Suez, do they think PNS Babur is not good enough to protect their nationals? If so, then what's the reason for sudden wake-up? After all has been already done?

OR Indian Government and IN wants to show that they also had role in protection of MV Suez and wants to score some points in the last half of the game? the latter assumption seems to be true, at least to me!

Indian Navy has been involved in Anti Piracy operation for a while now and has saved dozens of ships(including Pakistani ones) from being hijacked. They don't need to score any points.

Earlier in the day, the Indian Navy described reports of aggression by INS Godavari as incorrect and based on misinformation. This incident is said to have happened in the Gulf of Aden on Thursday while MV Suez was being escorted towards Oman. Indian Navy officials claim they have photographs and records to prove their position.

f the position of INS Godavari is clear and they did not do any dangerous maneuvers,then there is nothing wrong.Many ships are patrolling the area and INS Godavari is just one of them.
