Unless you want to argue Cyprus is an "artifical" island

Regarding the agreement
It can not be considered as a legitimate agreement for 2 reasons:
1- It is against UN EEZ Laws.
2- It is not ratified from Libyan Parliament.

You have to know that the Egyptian- Greece or Libyan boarders for EEZ is not signed yet .... Egypt only signed agreements with Israel and Cyprus.

Egypt repeatedly rejected the greek’s point of view regarding some lines in the EEZ between the two countries .... Basically, considering Our Muslim brothers in Libya and Turkey.

Knowing that .... for Egypt where are the only 2 Mega Gas liquefaction factories in Eastern Mediterranean .... which if any country want to build the same facility it will cost 10 BILLIONS USD for each. .... so Israel and Cyprus signed deals with Egypt to make Gas pipelines to Egypt for liquefaction and exported via Ships not pipelines .

An island can have a longer coastline than a large country with limited coastline
the UN laws are clear on coastal states, archipelagos and artificial islands
