The law enforcement agencies arrested six suspects, including officials of Afghanistan National Army, during a raid on a camp of Afghan refugees in Chakdara town in Dir District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on September 3, reports Dawn. The arrested men included Abdul Ghaffar and Khan Mohammad, who are said to be officials of Afghanistan National Army. Sources said that security agencies had been alerted to keep a vigilant eye on Afghan refugees’ camps at Chakdara, Timer, Toor Qilla Munda and Mayar Jandol after getting information that about 270 officials of Afghanistan National Army and some NGOs working in Afghanistan had been staying in those camps.

So command center already there to control & plan Afghan insurgents border attack moreover terrorists activities. If so then how Afghan government will justify their illegal presence in Pakistan.

Yes, the thing is, these are not just insurgents they facilitated: it is the ANA officials themselves that have been arrested in KPK. What were they doing there in the first place?

Command centre? isnt it a bit too early to speculate such thing?

by the way, what are the charges against these guys.

Ur question should be WHAT THE HELL THEY WERE DOING THERE !!!

1. Did they had legal visa ?
2. Arent they trained and payed to do job in Afghanistan ? Why are they in Pakistan and area DIR were opertaion is going on ?
3. Not 1 ANA but 6 of them god know how many more !!!!
4. ANA is trained by NATO and it can be used as undercover traning to send ppl over to Pakistan which has been case before.

\ oh nice what are charges? they are living illegally in those camps and they are serving officials of ANA , they came here without any permission and they hide their identity i think these are enough charges..........dont worry their anti pakistan activities will not be tolerated:butcher:

good....now find out why their territory is being used for hostile actions against Pakistan. Whether its mortars fired blindly to inflict casualties on civilians, or cheap shots taken at checkposts.....more often than not, its civilians.

and these druggie ANA charsis are busy bickering and struggling to remain alert or be of any damn use

if STATE elements of Afghanistan are being used for nefarious activities, it will (and should) have a very detrimental impact on the status of Afghan refugees in Pakistan --since suspicions against them will increase. These Afghan agencies and whoever gives orders for these kinds of activities are asking for serious trouble; they are doing a disservice to Afghan students, those seeking care or being cared for in Pakistan, Afghan merchants, and of course the refugees themselves

and until their loudmouth "generals" stop bringing up non-issues like Durand Line, we should mine the border and keep those people out using all means necessary

Maybe they were just visiting their families..
in any case.. they should have declared their status..
and in case they are involved in suspicious activities.. spying or helping anti-Pakistan elements isnt the only thing... it could be drug trade.

They were there like many other Afghans, so that shouldn’t surprise us.

1. Did they had legal visa ?

No, they didn’t have visa as the border is open and people go and come along the border, again this is something we all know about it.
2. Arent they trained and payed to do job in Afghanistan ? Why are they in Pakistan and area DIR were opertaion is going on ?
Because they might have relatives in Pakistan and most likely they were visiting their relatives in Eid. And dont forget that NGO workers have also been named in this list, and some of those officials have relatives in Pakistan, and during eid and other occasions they visit pakistan.

3. Not 1 ANA but 6 of them god know how many more !!!!
There could be more, not a surprise given the above reasons.

4. ANA is trained by NATO and it can be used as undercover traning to send ppl over to Pakistan which has been case before.
Yes, this is also possible. But the above reasons I gave is the most likely scenario.

I know that we do not have a proper army yet and it will probably take many decades to have a decent army, but I dont think it is right if you talk about them like that, at least for the sake of being civil and polite. I am asking you as a brother not to do it again as i have seen this from you quite a few times now. Honestly brother, i remember once that I miss-spelled Pakistan's name as Pasktan you really got mad, and that was not my intention as well because my posts are full these mistakes.

3 Afghans nabbed today in Hayatabad, Peshawar by an intel agency while planting a bomb outside the house of a martyred DSP police officer, who died in the bomb blast which also took the like of CCPO Malik Saad.

Interrogations going on, but Afghan identity is confirmed.

Plus, Peshawar is on extreme high alert since yesterday, high level threat.
