Amir Dogar Says that he will be remain as independent candidate in National Assembly

thank God. i was literally scared that he might join PTI. would have been disastrous for PTI's reputation. Rauf Kalsra rightly said that SMQ might turn out to be disastrous for PTI due to his efforts towards bringing feudals into the party

While criticizing SMQ is fine one must not forget that he too works hard for PTI, he alone did campaigning for supporting Amir Dogar against JH, though we may disagee with his methods sometimes but we should not outright declare him a bad guy or something. He is still an asset of PTI who speaks great for the party and represents it pretty well.

you are right. my comment was less to do with SMQ's personality but his influence in directing party's policy when it comes to electables. PTI should be looking for people like Asad Umar, Murad Saeed and the likes rather than the status quo crowd. My fear is that if PTI compromises on the ideals, the critical mass needed within the party to make PTI an instrument of change will die out.

I do acknowledge that SMQ has been working very very hard for the Party. But apparently most of his efforts are revolving around getting electables into the party. If the selection criterion is loosened by the PTI, it may no longer remain strong enough to act as an instrument of change. This is roughly what Rauf Klasra is saying and rightly so.

Yea focuses more on electables but we shouldn't forget that he is used to being in the old system of politics and he doesn't have any financial corruption charge on him but yea thats why he's not 100% changed but just like JH if he cannot adapt to PTI's objectives 100% there will be a time when he himself will walkout like any other big name from PTI. So, its upto him. However with Rauf Klasra i mostly agree with him on stuff but when i heard him talking about corruption on Asad umar in Engro he was wrong in blaming Asad for that. Asad umer wasn't the head of Engro when that corruption scandal was found but simply an employee of the private company. Sometimes anchors/analysts try to blame other party members also so that they can reach a balance when it comes to criticizing politicians.

lol, no - Amir Dogar is not independent candidate - PTI won!! its PTI seat. lol

PTI never wanted the seat, all they wanted is to make sure JH looses... thats only why they supported Dogar,.. Dogar wanted to join PTI but PTI never shown interest in having him, you can check the speech of IK of that day,. He never quoted Dogar in his speech even when he won and said that he'll b joining PTI,.. I don't think he fits for PTI and PTI wants him.. and in the next elections, i believe they'll have their own candidate, neither Dogar nor Hashmi...

What if Amir Dogar, decides to join PML (N), eternal humiliation for PTI.

It will humiliate PML-N instead of PTI. PTI never wanted him to join, that is why they supported him in the first place as they wanted someone against Hashmi who is not or will not be a part of PTI.

If PML-N accepts him now, it will be moral defeat for them. A guy who contested against their supported candidate, gave him humiliating defeat even after N-League's complete support and efforts. And they have accepted him in the party..

Thats the final peace of the fight against Daaghi. Used Amir Dogar and now he's gonna go to the NA as independent Candidate and not joining PTI.

Thank GOD PTI didn't take him. Mission accomplished :yay:

pmln can take him. we dont need him. we wanted to prove our point to shameless Nawaz and his patwari league and we did it.
