New Delhi: The Khalistan Tiger Force on Monday claimed responsibility for the Ambala RDX Haul, saying that the explosive were sent to terminate Congress leader Sajjan Kumar.

Sajjan Kumar is a key accused in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

Earlier on Monday, the Khalistan Tiger Force has issued a letter to the media saying that the RDX haul was the group's doing. The letter also claims that the KTF does not have any ties with the Lashkar e Toiba.

Five kg of explosives and detonators were recovered from a car parked outside the Ambala Cantt Railway Station by the police on October 13.

"There were five kg of RDX and five detonators. Two timers were hidden in the cavity of the power window buttons," said Arun Kampani, DCP, Special Cell, Delhi Police.

Ironically, the same car was given an all clear by the Haryana police when they checked it first. It is only when other specialised teams reached the spot that they found the explosives.

A box of sweets was found lying in the car, which showed that it was purchased from Jammu's Bari Brahmna area besides two newspapers from Jammu and Kashmir.

The Delhi Police had earlier revealed that the explosives found in the abandoned car was meant for banned terror outfit Babbar Khalsa International and was to be used in Delhi.

Thankfully most Sikhs are more than happy to be part of the mainstream. You will find it hard to find a greater patriot than a Sikh, but there are always going to be tiny, tiny minorities who continue in their outdated and outlandish beliefs. Look at IRA here in UK, they are still around despite numerous ceasefires and disarmentents.

Khalistanis rising again? just dnt blame ISI again!
Are you aware of the fact that around 20% of the army is composed of sikhs , besides the fact that many sikh families have a tradition that they contribute at least one son to the indian army? Like seriously , if it's fun for you , then keep dreaming about khalistan , but if you actually want to know the reality of the situation , then i've just told you.

Isn't their office in islamabad?

The Sikhs and the families that suffered 1984 will not so easily forget what happened. You guys might be able to because you were unaffected but this is not the case with everyone. I'm not supporting or denouncing Khalistan, but there still are Sikhs out there that want Khalistan because of what happened to them.

It was in 2004 or 2005. I was travelling to Ranchi, which is 1000s of miles apart from Punjab. A Sikh who was a localite of Ranchi was bitter about the riots and killings. He was affected too. He too wanted justice. Yes people affected wanted justice and they want justice. They are human beings and who will take care of their feelings ? Unfortunately the justice system in India is so screwed up.. that cases drag on and even in the India ...after verdict is done .. say after 10-20-30 years by which time the stakeholders might be dead it ends up being politicsed and prone to Presidential pardon. Sikh riots is not the only riot case in India.. You won;t even know of all riots because not all riots come in papers.. It's people who are affected.. People do not want Khalistan, Gulistan etc etc.. They want to have their feelings, angst, wounds to be soothed.. and they look upto the justice system to deliver that.. Unfortunately we have failed.. (I am not even talking about court cases on Government contracts ete cte) on our judicisry..
