I can curse PMLN a thousand time but you cant blame them for state of Karachi. Untill recently MQM didnt even allow outsiders to settle let alone let them work on Karachi problems. Billions was spent on Karachi during MQM tenure but they ate and $hit in Karachi nothing else. PPP also had a chance but they are now destroying Karachi for sake of politics. PTI never had Mayorship or even sindh govt so how can you expect them to interfere after 18th amendment. When Federal govt requested FWO to clean up all the drains in Karachi they did it by violating the law as they needed permission of sindh govt which they didnt. Right now after 18th Amendment PPP has the absolute authority over sindh so no one should curse others for present situation but PPP.

Now to solution only solutions are to turn Karachi into federal territory or turn it into another province with its own resources. There is no third option here as long as PPP is in control of sindh and i dont see their control loosening up all thanks to Sindhis.

Amend the constitution to get rid of 18th amendment which is a black amendment. Give more power to ilaqa nazims and transfer the funds directly to them. People know ilaqa nazims and can vote them based on their progress and developments he does. People can hold him accountable easily.

Capital should be moved to Hyderabad or Sukker so that those cities will also have some development and activity.

declaring divisions into provinces with their districts being run by empowered local bodies govts vis a vis punjab sounds pretty awesome as people there don't indulge in toxic ethnicism and could care less about the demographic change of their province if it solves issues at their door steps but the union of all Pakistan glorified clerks aka the Pakistan administration service won't let it happen and then there are local nationalist groups as well . Clerks are easy to be removed and stripped off their ridiculous power they enjoy over vast swaths of land but the local nationalists will be hard to tame. So in the case of other three provinces practical thing would be to abolish the office of the divisional and district commissioners and giving admin powers directly to district and town mayors as an elehda sooba would be detrimental to the national security hence out of question

Army shouldn't care at all neither its their job to clean gutters as they have on many occasions showed what wonders the local bodies system is capable of doing but it's the same old polical dynasties who are not willing to give people their constitutional right of self governance and instead completely rely upon their pet poodle babus to control crores of people from the center. They better give respect and power to our elected mayors otherwise there's no guarantee that one day people won't be locking down the commissioners offices

Tell the leadership in Islamabad to spend a week here, they will die of suffocation, if not, then diarrhea would kill them.

Karachi voted for PPPP 7 MQM for last 40 years(and 30% consitutencies still did) but expect PTi to solve the problme overnight or they threaten to vote for PPPP again
