To Qatari citizens, Qatar and its leadership is the best in the world, everyone live like a king there, a college student on an internship earns ~5000$ a month. A freshly graduated engineer earns +20,000$ a month.
Electricity/water/internet is free there. And if you're studying abroad, the government, ships your fancy car to whatever country you want back and fourth with you whenever you're on vacation.

So if you're hostile to Qatar and its policies, then might as well declare your hate to its whole population. Since they are content with their leadership and will defend it to the death.
