ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and the United States are expected to hold an important session of talks from next week in Islamabad.

According to diplomatic sources, a US delegation, headed by Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs Ambassador Alice Wells, will arrive in Pakistan next week on Tuesday to discuss economic and business relations.

Sources say Pakistan has also made regional security affairs as part of the agenda for the talks.
The representatives are also expected to review various options for promoting relations and mutual cooperation between the two countries.
Last year in November when Ambassador Wells visited Pakistan, Islamabad and Washington agreed to continue efforts to promote shared objectives of peace and stability in the region and diversify bilateral relationship.

On a day-long visit, she had called on Asad Umar, who was the then finance minister, and also held delegation-level talks at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The meeting took stock of the understanding reached between Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to rebuild the relationship based on mutual trust and respect, said a statement issued by the foreign office.

The Pakistani side laid emphasis on diversifying relationship between the two countries with particular focus on enhanced economic and trade cooperation and people to people contacts, the statement said.

Next will be Pompeo. Then IK will get an invite to Washington. Pakistan has been totally isolated.
I am surprised why nobody from the government and the army speak about the expansion and construction of firing range in American embassy in Islamabad.
May ALLAH strengthen us and bless us with truely courageous leaders in government and people who r responsible for security and protection of Pakistan.

There have been many news along with construction bidding request circulating and even some people circulated videos breaking this news. So from your post and sources there is no such activities being exercised or being developed?
For a common man if these news have an iota of reality is a worrying sign.

Thanks a lot brother for ur reply, even if previous governments have sold us out, but we still have to define and implement a policy to stop it somewhere. Why can’t we revoke the previously given permissions if they are conflicting with the sovereignty of the country. We can’t simply close our eyes there must be someone who talk to them and limit their embassy functions because the nature of their current work is very dangerous. That’s why I pray to seek help from ALLAH because no one from the current setup or authority speak about it. Can we have the same privilege in US?Off course no then why we are silent.
I hope there is a discussion on this topic already in army and government circles.
