As a pashtun, i would say non pashtun should not sing pashto songs, they cannot get the accent right and it then sounds funny.

Exactly. I played the "much hyped" song and couldn't even hear the whole song in the first time. Stopped listening in the middle..

But Asrar is an exception.

But the viewers like it & it is number 1 on YouTube. Probably non-Pashtun singing pushto comes out better to the ears of the audience.
