After winning the hearts of many with the splendid show performance against Germany in the round 16 of World Cup, the Algerians have decided to donate their prize money to the poor in Gaza.

UK-based Daily Mail reported Algeria forward Islam Slimani as saying, "[Gaza] need it more than us," adding that, it was the team's decision to donate the prize money.

The display of generosity by Algerians has once again surprised the whole world and surely they must have won more hearts.

On their return, Algerian team received an overwhelming welcome by the people. The players paraded through the streets in a bus.

God bless the Algerian people. Algerians and Palestinians are the closest people to each other. Our sympathy towards each other is unmatched. This is largely due to the one million Algerian heroes lost against colonialism and the current Palestinian struggle against it.

Sorry guys..It was an answer from a Slimani to a khalledji singer who offered to the player in the WC $10,000 per goal scored. Slimani replied to her that they don't need money, and Ghazan need it the most...From that, it was transformed to the players giving their WC earning to Gaza. Algeria contributes enough for the Palestinian cause and is and still the only country from the Arab League that have made her contribution on time despite it was more often diverted by Palestinian leaders for their own benefits...
