Thats fine with me, as long as they dont resort to some unfair business practices and create a uneven competition. The biggest loosers will be the customer like me.
I am open to every company, be it Indian or Somalian under fair play environment.

After reading the article, its very much evident that Airtel does indeed seem to enjoy unfair advantage.

The BD govt. does seem to have sold itself to the Indian corporates.

And all that Bangladeshis can now do is open threads and complain on PDF.

Its the network and QOS. I heard they are offering the cheapest rate yet failed to win the customers.
I pay triple the per call rate with grameen which covers 45% customers yet the most expensive. People here just dont go for the cheapest.

Okie, its been like 3 months hardly since they took over. Its heard they are investing around 300 million just for you guys. It has added 1 million plus customers in a relatively new market. These guys are smart. They believe in total coverage. If they can cover the whole India , BD wont be an issue.

For a starter in a new market , mere money pumping wont bring out results. The coverage area starts from the ground work involving finding the middle men for land acquisition for towers, meeting the owners, getting papers from local offices ( town and village) for erecting network towers, getting the right technicians , training them, and lots of technical stuff in between.Not to talk about appointing dealers and sub dealers.

They might have not moved much from the warid tele services due to these factors. In coming years , you gonna love the network as they have enough funding and give the cheapest and quality service, coz these days its easy to switch from networks keeping the same number. To sustain market leadership , they will have to provide the best. And bharati is known for it.

In Indian standard its the best I believe. But in BD standard its the worst here. Believe me .. i am not bulllshitting.

than in Bangladesh best mean worst and worst mean best. because airtel is a large company , much larger and better service provider than any bangladeshi company. it provides not only high speed internet or 3G telephony but HD digital TV etc.

Why do you think it is possible for only airtel to give speedier internet than other operators inside Bangladesh?

because airtel is offering 50 Mbps now. Many of my friends use 4 Mbps connections from airtel.

Airterl has no UNLIMITED broadband plans now all plans are subject to ridiculous FUP .....Airtel also cheats its broadband customers by implementing its FAIR USAGE POLICY ....lot of people who were in old plan with no FUP got changed to FUPED based plans without their consent.The service has also degraded lately.

Doesnt matter what speed airtel offers...even if they give 1000Mbps connection you will still get owned by airtels ridiculous fair usage policy .

and i had 450gb download last month over my mtnl..... They will cry for not giving fair usage to people like me. A thought crossed my mind that if i had more bandwidth i could have made local copy of internet with just sync required... Haha

in delhi 3g services are free on vodafone till 18 where u wont be charged extra apart from your regular 2g plan. I have unlimited download plan over cellphone in 250 bucks. So i am enjoying unlimited 3g for 5 dollars.....
