Labs dealing with ballistic missiles have come a long way. Angi and Prithvi took a long time, but Agni 4 and 5 have been developed, trialed, and productionised in such a shorter period of time.

Missile fell into the Australian waters.

But 5000 km only ???? Looks like tested with full range of 7000-8000 Km . Constrained vehicle should be mobile . It should be able to fire from anywhere in India to target any cities of China ....

Reports suggest that it's been tested with 1.1 T dummy war head against 1.5 of previous test.

NEW DELHI: India today successfully test-launched Agni-5, its longest range ballistic missile, for the third time off the Odisha coast. The missile was launched from a canister from Wheeler Island, giving it higher road mobility.
The three stage, solid propellant "missile was test-fired from a mobile launcher from the launch complex-4 of the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at about 8.06 hours," ITR Director M V K V Prasad said.

"The missile, witnessed a flawless 'auto launch' and detailed results will be known after all data retrieved from different radars and network systems," he added.

Now you can expect pakistan will make a launch any missile from stock and claim it to be successful launch.Have any body remember any failure in pakistan missile tests ? US,Russia,India etc cannot achieve the success rate of pakistan ..hi hi.When india launched mars mission, pakistan tested a missile,When obama came to india, they send their army general to china.
