Agni-III is more than enough. It meets all the threat requirements of India. Only thing is, Agni-III has to be mass-produced, periodically fine tuned in subsequent versions and enhanced to carry MIRV. Agni-5 is for Psychological advantage. But, It should not be matter whether Agni-5 delays or not.

Whew! Finally! But the induction was pretty hush hush this time compared to the large ceremonies we've had in past in induction of strategic missiles. This is great!! Finally we're learning to be discreet about such matters.

I think there should be more deliverables and less pomp and show from now on whatever strategic we develop and induct. That'd be best. The ceremonialism makes it look like a birthday rather than a threat to the enemies. . Just my 2 paisa.

Show us when last time India had a ceremony during induction of strategic missiles. Do not post BS if you do not know.

better late than never in the mean time just conduct a test of Agni 3 in december to validate the production lot like we did with Shaurya
