With the invention of the cell phone, steamy love letters turned into sexting. Then along came camera phones, which allowed people to send all sorts of pictures that could land them into bigger trouble.

While some people are careful about whom they send their pictures to, and what’s in the pictures, actor Agha Ali wants Pakistani women to stop sending private pictures and videos entirely. Even to their husbands.

Taking to his Instagram on Wednesday, Ali urged women to wake up about the hazards of sending nudes, even in private chats.

Earlier this month, Pakistani singer Rabi Pirzada also approached the Federal Investigation Agency after her private videos and pictures went viral on social media.

Couple of reasons:
- Husband might not be your husband in future.
- Mobile might get stolen
- Friends of husband might steal pics in his absence
- Hackers might hack

Plus, there is some kinda controversy going on right now about hollywood actresses and how their private pics have been hacked from iclouds(?) and leaked on internet. ( I dunno much about it though as I am not a tech savvy guy, so gotta ask some experts if its possible)

How they send the pictures? using whatsapp 99%. Where are these pictures save? in the server of whatsapp may be base in india or USA who knows and then deliver to lovely husband in his whatsapp window.

So anyone who has access to the server can have those pics simple is that.

And how things are going who knows a person who has access to whatsapp server will make his own dirty website and place all these pic and videos and earn huge.

Those pic will get viral or video and things can get mess up.

100% agree. It's utter stupidity in any circumstance. As @Valar. has rightfully stated, there are endless ways these could be made public. It's as daft as leaving your door unlocked with the justification "it's closed and i live in a safe neighbourhood".

Many messaging services hold messages and bulk collect data. IE snapchat, facebook and others.

Dude its not even about the physical phone. The actual data is not even safe. Nothing on your computer or phone is safe. Any data that you have is collected and there are remote accesses built into your devices by manufactures so that any government can spy on you.

The moment you take a picture it's not yours. People can hack you phone, or your computer. Have the wrong settings, and a naked picture of yourself is 'saved' in a communal file that your family or friend have access to. There is nothing stopping a person who you send a 'private' picture to, from posting it on a global website.

Apart from that , do people have no shame?

lol, I understand your point. Just saying nowadays we need to understand these things. Ultimately, this is a man's world and you have to protect your wives, daughters, sisters, and mothers. A mistake like a misplaced nude photo can ruin a woman's life and it is across all cultures not just Muslims or desi people.

Agha Ali is absolutely right... women need to stop getting carried away in the lovey divey jibberish by men and understand that TRUE LOVE will be selfless, not selfish...a man who truly loves his woman will ALWAYS hold her honor & dignity above his feelings EVEN if he can't marry her.
