i think superpowers have a fetish for Afghanistan or something the British tried to take over Afghanistan they failed same with the Russians and now the Americans the only people that came close to ruling all of Afghanistan (not being Pashtun) were the Sikhs under Ranjit Singh

You have asked the very key questions brother, i think the reason is all the 3. And contrary to the perception among some people, Afghanistan have been conquered and ruled by several empires and also it was politically dependant to britain for many many decades before it took its dependce-just like paksitan and india.

Yes! this is what US planning for Chinese pplz. Similiar to what Russia planned for the Yankees to get trapped in Afghanistan.
I guess this must be foolishness on Yankees part because Chinese people are peaceful and don't like wars like Yankees do.
