What's new

After TuQ, now PTI admits London Plan.

Imran khan TuQ Sheikh Rasheed and choudhry bros had a meeting in UK this is not a thing to hide, what my concern is about AH!! Bhai some how......... for me truth lying somewhere else.
Being closely related to Musharraf, there is every reason to believe that he would soon be aware of "the plan" and would have started to figure out how to get best for him as the situation develops. However, just like TuQ's first dharna, AH initially lent his support to TuQ implying that there are strong hands behind the movement, but withdrew it when he saw nothing coming to help TuQ out.
Similarly, he adopted a similar strategy of winning the best deals from both government as well as the directors by constant switch of stance but Javed Hashmi spoiled the party and the bubble went burst, leaving AH empty handed. His smartness backfired as not only he left empty handed, but the Karachi operation, which was stopped in a bid to appease MQM, is now back to full throttle. PML-N wouldn't dislodge the Governor, but may indirectly facilitate the rifts in MQM loosen the control of AH from London.
For military despite ISPR's statements about military not being involved in the current situation. AH's speeches explicitly asking military to take over strengthened the impression about military's involvement which military was desperately trying to dispel. This wouldn't have gone down well with the military as well. Rather than being vocal, AH should have lent tacit support to PAT and PTI instead of directly involving the army in this impasse.
Sometimes you have to pick sides, AH got it terribly wrong this time I think.

Amazingly you are close what I was guessing, there was another thing which was And still about MQM/PTI relations!! both sides don't wanna bent to each other
and this talks doubtfully happen in UK.
MQM never believed on retired generals coz they have no authorities as per on duty armed personals, MQM playing cleverly as per situation (Pak Politics) no green signal you don't have to go!!! Same time both PMLN and PTI losing their popularity to fighting each other and pro media is busy to exposing them. Ah ok, About Mushraff Pak Army has upper hand already and time will tell this. AH and MQM nothing to worry about all This happening around and this the dirty Pak politics.

Unlike TuQ, Imran Khan's is a genuine political party with a large stake in the democratic system. So IK can't be overtly asking for the military to intervene--he is personally too stupid to know the consequences of that course of action but has been probably 'advised' by seniors like SMQ to have 'plausible denial'.
Are you serious? PTI is a democratic party. Why would they want COAS to intervene?

Given that NS has 2/3rd majority. Given that 11 out of twelve parties in the Parliament are firmly backing NS, the only viable course of action for IK was/is to cause enough violence, disruption so that a 3rd party would intervene. And, yes, this course of action does buttress a London Plan.
LOL. Enough violence? You mean something like Model Town massacre and Islamabad massacre?

There is a reason I have been stern opposer of this anarchy march since day 1, now PTI is only on losing side, they have put everything on stake for this anarchy march but unfortunately people did not come out as expected... minor glimpses of civil disobedience here n there..
Oh, no but containers did come out as expected to stop people from reaching Islamabad. So that people like you could use propaganda here that not enough people came.

Yes, I remember your 'poll' about PTI supporters becoming 'Ex-PTI' supporter. Look like almost half the forum became 'Ex PTI' in that poll. Incidentally, there was a similar poll in Express Tribune. In that, the split was 45% to 55% to the question: 'Has your opinion of PTI become worse since the march'. The majority (55%) said NO but, given PTI's strong online presence, the 45% YES in a sample of several thousand was pretty significant.
Any idea how many more people joined PTI / PAT cause since dharna began?

No prediction of SR ever came true, but looks like one will come.i.e. on D-Chowk one person's politics will be finish.
Seeing his previous record of predictions, I won't bet on it.

In this context--we should even question the rhetoric of Model Town 'massacre'. Yes, it was a 'massacre' but by who? Who had to gain the most from it? While I want that to be investigated and fire SS if he is guilty I find it VERY hard to believe a sitting govt would at the top level want blood shed on its hands so casually--especially after the rift with the Army over the GEO/Hamid Mir a few weeks before.
Yes, the massacre was caused by Qadri and his men via inside job. IK sent his tigers in police uniform to commit mass killings in broad daylight against PAT workers, an event that was shown on live TV for hours. Also, don't forget to blame CM of KPK for not knowing anything about the massacre in Lahore. LOL. You Americans are so ignorant and naive that its amazing I am even debating with you. Who asks questions like who is to gain from a "massacre"? Are you even human?

Folks: We all know how dirty and ugly Pakistani politics has been. The protagonists of the 'New Pakistan' are perhaps even dirtier and uglier than those of the 'Old Pakistan'.
Of course they are ugly. How dare they demand justice for model town massacre in front of Parliament. How dare they demand scrutiny for rigging. How dare they challenge this so-called elected government with absolute majority that came through pre-poll / post-poll rigging. And forget the fact that a legitimate government would never be afraid to resign and hold new elections as majority of Pakistanis support them anyway, so why this staunch opposition to opening of constituencies if you have nothing to hide? LOL. Who are you fooling?
