"Mazari didn't know", Shah Mehmood admits Imran, Qadri's London meeting
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Saturday admitted that party chief Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri indeed met in London, adding that both leaders only exchanged views and no written agreement took place, Dunya News reported.

Responding to Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique’s questions, Qureshi said that it is common for leaders to meet asking what the big deal is if Qadri and Khan met in London.

Retracting party’s previous stance, Qureshi said Shireen Mazari denied the meeting because “she didn’t know”.

Answering a question, he said that a leader is entitled to reveal information whenever they feel right.

Earlier, Khawaja Saad Rafique termed PTI, PAT’s sit-in protests in Islamabad as ‘London plan’ and had raised questions over the nature of the meeting

Seems like now abandoned, both orphans want to blackmail the "directors" in making them help the trapped orphans.

OP--we will NEVER know the truth about the 'London Plan'. Pakistani politicians, including Imran Khan--master the art of lying through their teeth.
The London Plan is being propagated mostly by Najam Sethi; and we know he is not impartial. However, Javed Hashmi is on record to have said that IK met TuQ in London some months ago. Some other facts: Ch. Shujaat has publicly asked for the Army to intervene. Sh. Rasheed is not shy to invite the 3rd force (I don't have any quotes from him on this yet).

But, of course, the lying Imran Khan will never admit to toppling the govt or the parliament. He is trying to find a more sneaky way: Topple the PM and, hopefully, the 'dominoes will fall', meaning new elections or technocrat govt. Unlike TuQ, Imran Khan's is a genuine political party with a large stake in the democratic system. So IK can't be overtly asking for the military to intervene--he is personally too stupid to know the consequences of that course of action but has been probably 'advised' by seniors like SMQ to have 'plausible denial'.

Given that NS has 2/3rd majority. Given that 11 out of twelve parties in the Parliament are firmly backing NS, the only viable course of action for IK was/is to cause enough violence, disruption so that a 3rd party would intervene. And, yes, this course of action does buttress a London Plan.

Some of you may not believe me but I said it couple of months ago... One of my relative met with Lord Nazir when there was no talk of Anarchy march and "baaton baaton main" he said Nawaz will resign in August as the environment will be created like that.

There is another top leader of PTI (UK), his credentials written on PTI website very respectfully and he said to me oh jee deal ho gayi hai ab bas dharna shoro ho ga aur ye resign kar de ga.. jin se baat honi thee ho chuki hai

There is a reason I have been stern opposer of this anarchy march since day 1, now PTI is only on losing side, they have put everything on stake for this anarchy march but unfortunately people did not come out as expected... minor glimpses of civil disobedience here n there..

Yes, I remember your 'poll' about PTI supporters becoming 'Ex-PTI' supporter. Look like almost half the forum became 'Ex PTI' in that poll. Incidentally, there was a similar poll in Express Tribune. In that, the split was 45% to 55% to the question: 'Has your opinion of PTI become worse since the march'. The majority (55%) said NO but, given PTI's strong online presence, the 45% YES in a sample of several thousand was pretty significant.

Whatever JH said was after all true. Some has been accepted, some will be accepted.

No prediction of SR ever came true, but looks like one will come.i.e. on D-Chowk one person's politics will be finish.

To me the 'plot' is becoming more and more obvious--yes, it takes some time for me to put the blame, being of a cautious nature that I am. But now I am almost certain PAT was put into work because of the loyal few thousands TuQ would be able to bring to the table. These, unlike the educated cadres of PTI, are fanatical, steadfast, disciplined--and POOR. They could be expected to stay in adverse weather conditions, face up police actions and even sacrifice life. And, being poor, they are easier to be mobilized--pay Rs. 500 a day per head, for example. But behind them would be the 'educated' façade of Imran Khan with women and children. This is not so dissimilar to the Islamist using Dr. Aafia's graduation photo to advance their 'cause' while conveniently downplaying her head-scarf photos... But I digress.

In this context--we should even question the rhetoric of Model Town 'massacre'. Yes, it was a 'massacre' but by who? Who had to gain the most from it? While I want that to be investigated and fire SS if he is guilty I find it VERY hard to believe a sitting govt would at the top level want blood shed on its hands so casually--especially after the rift with the Army over the GEO/Hamid Mir a few weeks before.

Folks: We all know how dirty and ugly Pakistani politics has been. The protagonists of the 'New Pakistan' are perhaps even dirtier and uglier than those of the 'Old Pakistan'.
