LOL I was watching Morning Joe on MSNBC. Boy oh boy. The deep state is in an absolute frenzy and they are not hiding it. The US is run by warmongers. They want wars to continue. They are so opposed to Donald Trump's desire to end wars and concentrate on the US.

Not only did Trump do that, he gave Northern Syria to Turkey on a plate. IF trump does the same to the afghans, it means the Taliban have ultimately won the WOT and that the Americans are giving Afghanistan on a plate to Pakistan.......
.......in effect the Americans want Afghanistan to become a part of Pakistan.......On the contrary this is EXACTLY what the the American deep state want. They want to scale down their foreign interventions so they have better finances and are better poised to face China's rise as a global superpower.

This article just rehashes what is already known, as affirmed by Trumps desire to seal a deal in Camp David, but where the optics just didn't line up coming just days shy of 9/11.
From this Article, India's mindset has not changed from that held in the 90s, in fact it seems to have actually gotten worse.
The US pullout would be to save its economy and focus on the threat from peer competitors, but India only knows one tune; Indo-Pak animosity. If India challenges the parties which will form the post war government when they are in the ascend, they will lose business contracts, at the very least. The author of this article worked for the Modi government on its Smart cities project and interned at the Hudson Institute (where a certain persona non grata former Pakistani Ambassador works), so his analysis needs to be considered in that light.
If India seems stubborn enough in this path, as the author seems to be surmising it wants to do, it will just be reaffirming the name of the Hindu Kush mountains for the 21st Century.

Most defenitely. The only solution for Afghans to start taking control of their destiny and stop relying on foreign donations. Unfortunately the incompetent regime has turned Afghanistan into a state which is happy to be a beggar than face some hardship and regain some sort of self reliance and dignity.
Afghanistan is not a poor country in terms of potential, it has minerals, fresh water, more arable land which meets more than the food needs of the country. Afghanistan just needs the foreign forces to leave and some period of peace and stability and an educated new generation to take charge of the country.

What people don't know is that American people have been growing wary of the deep state and its manipulative control and the constant state of war imposed on USA.
There has been a constant tug of war between the politicians and the deep state or shadow govt. The latter has employed different instruments to force the politicians into submission and to do what it wants them to do basically rubber stamp their policies and lend it a political face. The main techniques are various scams and sex scandals like Monica Lewinsky etc but if those do not work then they can go even extreme e.g. JFK.
Trumps win basically signifies the defeat of the deep state. Hilary Clinton was perceived as the pro-establishment or the deep state while Bernie Sanders was against it so in primaries Hilary was made to win or conversely Bernie Sanders was made to loose because he did not fit the capitalist corporate America. People as a reaction voted for Donald Trump... even those who did not like voted for him because they hated the other side.
People are wary of wars and sending their sons to different war zone for the wars which they don't even understand. Also since false flag 9/11, the state has been encroaching more and more and the people are losing freedom and now they have big doubts about all of this fishy stuff going on. US constitution has agreed some of fundamental freedoms that no one can take away from the citizen of the country. But some quarters have been making the attempt to take away even these fundamental freedoms.
You might have often heard the debate about gun control especially after every school shooting event. Well, the right to keep guns / weapons is also guaranteed by the constitution and people don't want to shun their fundamental right... so it is not that simple as non-US people wonder.
Ending these endless wars is Donald Trumps goal and his voter wants it and DT knows this very well and hence he has to show progress on this front before the next elections. Thus this tug of war would continue and things like impeachment, sexual harassment etc would keep surfacing

Afghan govt is a load of thieves and crooks; they have stolen everything that was aid'ed to them.
Mush was right these leaders are like Mayors of Kabul and other cities, nothing else.
