Now entire Indian media is claiming victory and that Pakistan surrendered.
Atleast ask for India to apologise for violating LOC, for God's sake.
This has been happening for 70 years now. It is so heartbreaking to read our history which is full of betrayals and utter stupidity.

1948 war: All military gains by Mujahidden and army lost because Liaqat Ali Khan surrendered to UN.
1965 war: All military gains lost because Bhutto betrayed Pakistan and went for Tashkent Declaration.
1971 war: Bhutto betrayed Pakistan and tore Poland resolution in UN which called for transfer of power and ending of hostilities.
1988 Afghan war: Junejo betrayed Pakistan and Mujahideen with Geneva Accords.
1999 Kargil war: All military gains by Pak Army lost because Nawaz Sharif went to USA and betrayed Pakistan.
2001 War on Terror: Musharraf surrendered to USA and gave free US/NATO supply lines without getting anything.

Than why does the Iaf send the weakest link in your air force to chase down the f 16? When they have so many mighty vedic plane such as the Su 30 mki mirage 2000 or even the mig 29?

I may not have agreed too on releasing the pilot. But Pakistan has gained initiative by doing this. Now India is in world focus. Any aggression from them will be seen as unacceptable.

If Imran was not the leader, Nawaz Sharif would have registered FIR already against his own people just like he did after Pathankot. If Zardari was the leader he would have looked the other way just like he did when Indian planes did cross into Pakistan side after Mumbai drama.

It was Imran who ordered a counter attack that went so well it destroyed the myth of Indian supremacy. But still we should look at what is the right thing to do and the right thing to de escalate was to release him. India was already humiliated.

Imran Khan came out of this incident looking far better militarily and diplomatically then Modi. Imran Khan was a statesmen resolving the crisis while Modi was hiding in a nuclear bomb shelter (while risking the lives of millions of Indians and Pakistanis......real macho tough guy).

My take away's from the current crisis. The "Modi Doctrine" of attacking Pakistan with B.S. exaggerated raids actually gives Pakistan some strategic advantages.

• Pakistan can exploit social media to expose Indian lies by providing rapid and accurate information.
• A fast, hard, effective, conventional counterstrike from Pakistan that bloody's India's nose followed by some conciliatory peace offers to allow for a Indian climb down and put a chill on mass war fervor as rapidly as it started up.
• International pressure will mount on both sides to back down after a Pakistani counter strike (not just on Pakistan...notice the new American tariffs on India)
• India is not really series about escalating into a full scale war (despite all the rhetoric).

The "Modi Doctrine" will make Indians look like irresponsible, weak, pathological liars in the eyes of the rest the world.
