The Chiltern Lime Stone merely refers to the rock formation where the gas accumulated. I am not a Geologist or a Reservoir Engineer. All I know is that the 'Choke' is a device to control the flow of oil/gas from the well and it could be fixed choke or variable choke. The choke size could be up to 2 inches and 64/64 means that it was 1inch choke. There are some formulas to estimate the production rate from the well but this is a specialized field and my knowledge is very rudimentary.

I regret my inability to estimate the size of the reservoir from the gas pressure at a specific choke size. My apologies.

I meant more along the lines of does this seem like a reasonable assessment or are they throwing around these terms to confuse people? Is this actually something that is used in practice and/or if it seems reasonable assume what the article says is realistic based on information provided. Or if you happen to know of any gas exploration in the area mentioned. Thanks.

At this time it more of a guess. I would wait & see what figure comes out of PPL.
To the best of my knowledge, a1-tcf gas filed should be able to produce about 200-million cft per day when fully developed.

Still you have doubt that Noon League was not a band of thieves? They did not put investments in local exploration but went out to do expensive LNG contracts. Obviously not for the country but to make money.

Otherwise nothing lowers the morale of the nation of announced and nothing found later.
