It was never a case that SHE approached the program managers and wanted to participate and Afridi jumped in and refused to allow this. SHE was also not interested in this so please stop twisting the reports or trying to put words in others mouth, it wont do you much good.
On the other side if you are trying to portray someone for sex discrimination, what about the program produces who asked Afridi and not his wife? Why the ASSUMED that if they convince him he will force his wife along? remember, She is her own person, it's not his place to tell her what she can and can't do so may be next time the program produces try and approach her directly and see what happens.
