Pakistan would never like to merge Afghanistan as they don't have any resources current Afghan government is surviving only due to US funding and it's impossible for Pakistan to secure such a large area it took Pakistan more than a decade to secure FATA which is only 27000 square kilometers and population as per 2017 census is 5.5 million
And Afghanistan's area is 652000 square kilometers

Reply to the bold part. The Pashtuns also hate Pakistan especially the Durrani Pashtuns. Only certain tribes of Ghilzai Pashtuns favour Pakistan for their support to the Taliban.

In theory balkanization is probably the best option. US has probably not done it yet because doing so increases Iran and Pakistan's strategic power, which US doesnt want to happen.

Iran can look at its Ahvaz arabs and say go across, you're not from the Iranian plateau, Malaysia could look at its ethnic Chinese and tell them to go back to the Mainland, etc.

There should be a separate country for Pashtun majority areas, Tajik majority areas must join Tajikistan, Uzbeks Uzbekistan, Turkmen Turkmenistan etc.

On paper this is what should happen, but that theory. Reality/ real world s*** is probably very different and untenable.

Someone has to start working on making this a reality. So many nations in the past have been carved up to prevent civil war including India and more recently Sudan.

They are part of the military in higher portion than their population and serve with bravery and courage in the FC.

Those who think we are divided by ethnicity have been sleeping and are in for a rude awakening.
