Afghanistan must act against terrorists:Secretary of Foreign Affairs

Would Afghanistan work with Pakistan to defeat this threat? - NO
  • Would Afghanistan stop being an Indian lapdog in order to pose a threat to Pakistan? - NO
  • Would India stop paying bribes to Afghan politicians and drug lords for keeping them 'cooperative' against Pakistan? - NO
  • Would Pakistan stop aiding elements of Afghan taliban when the current system in Afghanistan systematically marginalizes the majority Pashtuns and the fact that despite repeated rounds of talks (17 to be precise), Afghanistan is still bent on remaining an Indian aircraft carrier? - NO
In a bunch of No, Nos, Pakistan still needs to protect its interests by talks and by force. Afghanistan should stop harbouring RAW and its Army of Uzbek, Tajik, Afghan, Chachan, Daghistani and E.Turkistani mercenaries, and we will stop supporting elements which pose a threat to the Afghan govt. Until Afghanistan learns that lesson, we need to use force, where we can, how many times we can, as much as we can for as long as its needed on top of an ongoing dialogue just in a hope that we will catch them on a day when their brain is not under the effects of hashish and their pocket isn't filled with Indian money.

If Afghanistan and Pakistan find a common ground and objectives, they would definitely come together but Pakistan supports Afghan Taliban and opposes Pakistani Taliban. Unless both the countries have a common enemy, they cant come together.

Pursuing an independent foreign policy is the right of a sovereign Afghanistan. Going by that language even Pakistan is a lapdog of China and Saudi Arabia and used to be of USA once upon a time.

How much did Pervez Musharraf get as bribe from USA to cooperate in War Against Terror? Would Pakistan stop paying bribes to Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders who toe Pakistani line? Such questions are of no use and importance.

Pashtuns are not being marginalized but Talibans are. Pashtuns still dominate Karzai, abdullah, ashraf ghani are all Pashtuns. Afghanistan is not the Indian aircraft carrier but Tajikistan does have an Indian Air Force base.

RAW officers dont go to a place with their ID card hanging from their neck. RAW is present in Pakistan also. does that mean Pakistan is harbouring RAW? Similarly ISI is present in India and Afghanistan.

Afghanistan is nt a homogenous country demogaphically. There are tajiks, ujbeks, hazaras and many others who are as much Afghans as Pashtuns are. Afghan Army will have all her citizens in her army.

Its time Pakistan respects Afghans as an independent sovereign nation and not treat them as their subordinate. Both Pakistan and Afghanistan accept foreign aid as both are poor and developing countries. Can Afghanistan tell Pakistan not to be a lapdog of china since chinese have been treating Uyghur muslims badly?
