Many people kidnapped in Pakistan are shifted to Afghanistan where they will be safe from Pakistani law, intel and military agencies. From there, they begin to make demands such as ransom or continue to hold the abductee.

You talk as if Pakistan is a law less country that a high rankings police officer kidnapped and travelled 300 km without being intercepted.things are not adding up
