The Taliban has stepped up its attacks in Afghanistan as the US military presence in the country shrinks.But another major obstacle for remaining US troops and Afghan forces is that al-Qaeda is beginning to re-establish training camps in the country.

This is very ominous news -- and if true it will mean Pakistan will continue to be wracked by violence in the near future.

I hate to admit it but Amrullah Saleh one said something very insightful: "Brother, I have yet to find the verse in the holy Quran where it says that the gateway to heaven is in my Country" -- twisted logic that these pigs come to Afghanistan and Pakistan to wage Jihad -- how about starting at home.
