After some thought, IMHO, the government should try to avoid these kinds of cases. Even if many Afghans are hostile to Pakistan, the next few years are not the time to allow a negative impression to gain a foothold amongst the part of the Afghan population that may be sympathetic.

Yes it will be costly, but the long term negative ramifications for a bad perception could be worse. Many may feel many of the Afghans are a “what have you done for me lately” lot, but considering they have lived hand to mouth for decades, we can’t expect them to appreciate our situation.

The Afghan situation is a liability that needs to be managed, in much the same way Turkey has had to deal with Syria and Iraq on its borders. In a honor and shame based culture, image/face is very important. This is why I think IK is so determined not to allow a negative perception to grow, as much as possible.

I find it baffling that after the past two decades of trouble some still think it's a good idea to let afghanstan be hostile.

The Afghans are our neighbors and we don't claim any territory from them. It's best to cultivate good relations for our own long term benefit.

They have been hostile towards Pakistan since August the 14th 1947. Over 42 years of immense help to the afghans from Pakistan has done nothing to quench their hatred of us. Nothing we do will stop their hatred towards us. The afghans are not going anywhere? Neither are we. It's time to neutralise the afghan menace against Pakistan ONCE and FOR ALL. We need a final solution to this problem.

Kick ALL afghans out of Pakistan and make sure they permanently STAY OUT. Have no relations with them and provide them with 0 help in everything. We want Pakistan to progress and do well. We want to be afghan free. af-ghands are the most useless, degenerate and failed people on earth. We want nothing to do with them.
