Kabul, Afghanistan (CNN) -- A group of six alleged Pakistani terrorists accused of planning suicide attacks on the Indian embassy and the city of Kabul have been arrested, according to the spokesman of Afghanistan's National Directorate of Security.

At a press conference Tuesday, Lutfullah Mashal said the terrorist group was the main group responsible for the biggest attacks in Kabul.

"After investigations we (found) out that all the six terrorists were from Pakistan and they were linked with Sirajuddin Haqani Network," Lutfullah Mashal said at a press conference.

Sirajuddin Haqqani, or Siraj Haqqani, is a senior Taliban commander. A long-time ally of al Qaeda, the group operates on both sides of the Afghanistan-Pakistan border.

"This is not the only terrorist group which was working in Kabul, but we hope with (the) arresting of this main terrorist group the level of terrorist attacks decrease," Mashal added.

Mashal said the agency also arrested Abdul Qader, whom he said is a terrorist who organized the suicide attack inside a mosque in Takhar province that killed the governor of Kunduz province last year.

:what::what:

its funny how afghans have arrested 'alleged pakistani SUICIDAL terrorists'

are afghans not doing terrorist activites by sheltering indian terrorists in their embassies in the first place which is being admitted by kerzai recently :what:

btw i never trust the CNN propaganda, u need to confirm from pak media, if the news is true then those pakistani men were trying to remove the terrorism supported by those embassies
