.Yeah. I would expect a sane govt in Afghanistan to take decision for its betterment. But the current regime wants to keep power on America's backing but not on the backing of Afghans. When America gets out it will be bloody.time will tell
But Taliban's are not sane to administer a country. They dupe people in fanatic mullahism and try to rule over people. And they have proven record of taking disastrous decisions like shielding OBL.
May Allah bless Afghanistan. That's all I say. Who is in power in Afghan does not affect BD. So we just wish them well.

On what basis? Our past experience in dealing with them was positive. They cannot be worse then the current dispensation in Kabul which is just there to harm Pakistan and play on the tunes of CIA and RAW. And if you have missed, one of the Taliban demands with American is to ensure that Afghan soil will not be used against neighbouring countries, which is exactly what we want.
It was Talibans who bought WOT on you. Your govt have fair share of blame too. But a war on Afghanistan was always going to affect Pakistan. They are fanatics and you guys want them in power.

Incorrect. It was Al Qaeeda, if we believe the official version about 9/11. Taliban offered America to bring forth the proofs against OBL and they will hand over him. America ignored in its arrogance. They offered OBL to be handed over to a third country, Muslim country, to be tried. America ignored. War was imposed on them and here we are after 17 years, America is talking to them.
You Bengalis have no clue about the history of this region. Better not to engage on matter you have no knowledge.
Taliban's shielding OBL caused the war in Afghanistan. OBL was a Saudi. And caused a war in Afghanistan because shielded him. Praise them as much as you want.

They live under Pasthunwali code of conduct where guest are protected. They offered America to bring forth proof which can be used against OBL in court of law, America refused in its arrogance, even refused the option of trial in third country. Taliban didn't have anything to do with 9/11 itself.

When these "fanatics" were ruling Afghansitan, there was no terrorism in Pakistan. Its only when "liberal scumbags" got into power there, Pakistan faced unprecedented terrorism.
If not Taliban then who? The current liberal regime is neck deep in sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan in which we lost 60k citizens!!

I guess this is a dig at Pakistan. Rightly so, no doubt. Here's a history lesson for my eager little Bengali friend. Afghanistan did not accept the creation of Pakistan. Afghanistan governments in the 50s and 60s supported separatists in Pakistan, as well as sending insurrectionists to take border areas, who got their backs spanked by our patriotic tribals, way before Pakistan had done anything of the sort to Afghanistan. Afghanistan through the years have continually laid claim to half of our land, and has used terrorists and cross border insurgents since the 50s.
This is a game the Afghanistanis started, we're just returning the favour.
I know as a Bangladeshi, you begin to foam at your mouth wherever Pakistan is mentioned, but Pakistan will continue to use whatever means necessary to ensure a Pro Pakistan or at least a neutral government takes power in Afghanistan to protect its own borders and integrity.
No one else is going to dictate what happens in our backyard, not least a nation like Bangladesh.
