The question is if India can make it, then Africa, South America will also require one. How to cater for them? India always label itself as the presentative of the third world, so it must give some room for the two.

1945. China didn't become, it was a permanent member since UN is formed. In 1971 it was PRC succeeded ROC's position, where is different from India.

The UN SC should now have permanent members representing all regions:

US - Americas
Russia - East Asia
Japan - Asia Pacific
India - South Asia
China - Central Asia
Germany/France - Europe
South Africa - African continent

disagree,for me India is much more eligible to become the permanent member of UNSC

first, the most important one is India doesn't have any strategic Allies, hence her voice is much more neutral than most of other member. And she can act as the balancer within UNSC which has been dominated by certain party.
second, India is a respectable powerful country say, militarily, economically and have cultural influences on par with the other five Power
third, India is a Nuclear armed country, hence she has deterrence and can act's with freedom without worries from any intimidation from other parties (externally)

Remember how US gives China the UN permanent seat of ROC and end up CCP OF China. Same as 70years ago both US and Japan were killing each other's. Now become friend, you will not know suddenly Jaoan turn hostile towards US. Then you have Japan, China And Russia against the west.

Vietnam can be UNSC permanent member better then INDIA. Vietnam kick France and US out. Lol India lost to Pakistan if no USA help, Pakistan would have kick their Arshe.
