A suggestion to all members and please help the forum

The Pakistani military has always had an amazingly fragile ego.

In most countries it is entirely normal to criticize, and even insult the military. Criticism is an integral part of improvement.

Do that to the Pakistani military and they breakdown and cry.
What is normal in other countries doesn't make it a benchmark to follow. Rationale reasoning is what should decide if something is acceptable.

In some countries it is normal to eat cow shit and piss, in other countries it is normal for men to pretend to be a woman and enter their bathrooms, if anyone disagrees they beat them. In other countries its normal for people to walk around nude in some places.

Insults achieve nothing. Constructive criticism is entirely different.

It is simple, please respect the institutions and the fallen soldiers. And politics need to be debated in a civil manner. No more abusive language. .. my 2 cents..

This forum is a huge blessing to express our opinion. It is the responsibility of everyone to protect the sanctity of this forum.
Absolutely 💯

Being critical of a person or an institution is one thing but it you start posting house address of ISI officials, do you think they would sit back and do nothing?
The right word for this is “bund panga”.
He who is scared dies.
True that. But, it should be worth it, considering the likely consequences. Hanging upside down, with things going in and stuff coming out, is not my idea of acceptable consequences, for posting something on a forum.

Baki sab samajhdaar hain.

The fact that we are discussing this in itself is shame, and one of the reason Pakistan can never see success, Freedom of Expression should be protected, in countries like USA you can go outside the white house and cuss their president and criticize him, his govt, or any institution, including Military forces and Supreme court, but from the Moderators prospective, I can see why they want members to control their tone, because its their forum and if they can't control the narrative than " uper se order " aye ga aur Black Vigo will be outside their homes, we saw that even elected ministers and Journalists were kidnaped in broad daylight, these moderators are nothing and have no power compared to that, heck even ex-Prime minister couldn't do anything about it, its unfortunate that the future of Pakistan as a country is dark and hopeless.

You become a bit bitter when you see racial profiling in front of your eyes

When company touts try to defend it I have a hard time holding back but I will reserve my anger for X and Facebook

As a Pakistani in Pakistan I would consider this comment a bit detached from actual facts

Honestly, I completely understand where you're coming from, but we need to put those energies in the correct place. InshAllah, the path will reveal itself.

FBI usually targets websites for drugs and financial crimes but they also look into places like these
100% likely. That’s why, any post that can be “deduced” as supporting terror or drug usage or hate can come to bite anyone. Those who think that this is an anonymous forum, reside in a make belief world. Forget any agency, even a person with inclination can easily find out everything about anyone in this connected world.

Caution is the name of the game.

I try avoiding controversy with the army as they have taken the self appointed baton of the protector of the faith. Is sanctioning criticism and voicing a difference of opinion what Jinnah fought for?
I want to say so much more but don’t wish the forum and especially respected members to be threatened.
Stay blessed stay safe brothers and sisters

The moment some man with enough manhood tells that Whore from Lahore to STFU, sit down and be a grandmother, all of this will disappear.

Those are stable countries where the Army is criticized for actions outside the country whereas within Pakistan, a segment has been blaming the Army for every ill of the country ever since the ouster of Imran Khan. It is one thing to blame the Army for the security lapses but an entirely different thing to make it a target for everything out of habit or personal problems.

This becomes a problem when the enemy's most lethal weapon against the country is to sow discord between the Army and the public through which the enemies can realize their ulterior motives and hence these moves need to be stopped through all means available, even if it means to silent abettors, both willing ones and stupid ones.

I kept reporting comments which were celebrating deaths of soldiers but no action was taken. Then unfounded claims and threads were being created and anyone disagreeing was greeted with invective. I saw some comments who were going to the extent of supporting TTP just because these posters hated army. What else administration was expecting?

If the army junta doesn’t want this, it should stop recording what legally married couples do in bed. It should stop kidnapping innocent people and torturing them. It should stop its criminal political engineering. I mean what crime did the journalist they murdered in Kenya commit? How about the imran something journalist they held hostage for months without admitting?

The army junta can’t keep committing these egregious crimes and still expect people to look the other way. The truth is the army junta’s crimes invite criticisms.

There has been a limit.

Anyway, we know with the recent Gaza conflict how much Freedom of expression we have. Home Office tried its best to stop protests.
And done rightly so, the Government's stance is crystal clear and there is not an iota that we can do more so retarded protests had to be stopped.

The problem is immature behavior on PDF, I dont believe anyone would have any issues regarding difference in political views or disagreeing with policies of a state but name calling, swearing, abusing, calling for rebellion, war, violence, hatred, division, targeting state institutes is the issue. Alot of members crossed that line. Whats surprising is we all are educated and role models for our state, I would say not much difference between us and those who are in villages playing it dirty. Whats the difference between us and them? Reading twitter comments, youtube comments, Tiktok comments shows the real face of the educated people.

We all should learn and move on, make PDF strictly a professional site where people discuss world related issues in a respectful manner, without any abuse.
Well said. But surprisingly, even the highly educated ones fail to understand the simple logic and which lines one should never cross.
