A suggestion to all members and please help the forum

PDF is Pakistan Defense Forum, which means its primarily a defense forum for military related discussions. Somehow, it became Political Defense Forum, which shouldn't have occurred in the first plac.

Actually the 'institution' has captured the entire state - economics and politics. A defence only forum wouldnt have any basis.

The only solution is for PDF to be hosted outside Pak with a non PK domain.

Criticism has two sides, positive and negative. The members had a choice, they chose latter and then jumped on the bandwagon with political youtubers and twitter users who carved out every rumor as per their own imagination whether it was close to reality or not.
Every discussion, we have two sides ..agree and disagree...negative or positive, perception of hunter and one being hunt. .. but we have living example of Gaza war..which everyone fight on social media.. One front on the ground and second one on social media. The era of TV and satellite era is partially over ............ now this is the age of cellphone and its camera ...

We need to separate establishment (the top tier of the military) and the officers / soldiers.

The establishment, to put it mildly, has been operating well outside its constitutional parameters. This is a fair criticism that they should be facing.

The establishment, conduct of its own institution, and the fact that the tax payers finance the military institution, hence should not be above criticism.

What I don’t like is when officers and soldiers in battle dying for the country to face criticism. This should be a no go. Pakistanis should support them.

And for the admins who were threatened, I feel sorry and understand them completely. Would recommend making plans to shift to a .com suffix domain.

but is it faisal naseer or faheem raza who broke gill's jaw or tied bricks to his balls. it was probably some lower level lt col or major or even an nco/jco. it was already established at nuremberg that following illegal orders is illegal. are there no von stauffenbergs in the military ?

Anyone disrespecting fallen soldiers is an idiot and should be placed on probation. Running away from politics is not an answer but I am not facing the pressure @WebMaster has , my suggestion is to temporarily remove the political section.

Pakistani awam didn’t bring politics into army, its the generals that continue to interfere in politics. The anger and frustration displayed is genuine, we didn’t join the forum to discuss politics but now that’s all we think about. I can’t remember the last time I checked any defence related active thread on this website. My feeling towards anything defence related is dead, I don’t care about the shiny toys if the men operating them can’t stand for the flag.

More permanent solution will be required and it looks like an oversea Pakistani with minimal ties to Pakistan will have to take ownership. If anyone from Pakistan military actually goes through these forums , I pray Allah guides you to see the truth.

99% of Pakistanis still stand with the forces but we can’t stand the traitors anymore.

Pakistan Zindabad and may Allah destroy its internal and external enemies. Ameen

It is simple, please respect the institutions and the fallen soldiers. And politics need to be debated in a civil manner. No more abusive language. .. my 2 cents..

This forum is a huge blessing to express our opinion. It is the responsibility of everyone to protect the sanctity of this forum.
absolutely right

Respect is earned brother never demanded

Nobody is above criticism specially the military which is the real reason Pakistan is where it is today. Soldiers are following illegal orders of kidnapping torturing of Pakistanis just because Asim Munir doesn't like them or Bajwa did not liked them. They are following illegal orders by supporting a convicted criminal to power just because he is Asim's favorite. Till that time don't expect any respect from Pakistanis.
If you want respect go back to your barracks, and do what you are paid to do. Your job is to protect Pakistan against threats, not involve in politics and destabilizing successive governments, managing elections, bringing lotas together, forming new parties and what not.

So to clarify, the reason the forum was down recently was due to army interference?

If true, a major concern. The army junta that has ruined Pakistan since inception is a shameless, tyrannical mafia that can’t stand even criticism of its crimes on an online platform.

I pity Pakistanis who have to endure the crimes of this army junta. Pakistan will never reach its true potential as long as this mafia group continues to be above the law and operates with impunity.

My sympathies with the administration of this forum. It’s scary to be dealing with a power hungery military junta that will stop at nothing to hide its crimes.

Honestly, those of us that live in normal countries where the army generals are subservient to the constitution and the political order of the day, are tremendously lucky and fortunate. Looking at Egypt, Pakistan, North Korea, iran, etc, we should count our blessings.
