There is difference between COAS and
ARMY. One is an individual, other is an entire institution. Does criticizing COAS means insulting Army? I think not. But I-would agree this term neutral I here on here more than often being branded around here after a soldiers death is just wrong and definitely not needed it is just bad taste. Mods need to put a stop to it

But I-would agree we do have a problem on here when a poor Pakistani soldier is killed in action some people responses are they are neutrals to the soldier’s death I think the mods need to crack down on this it’s very disrespectful and just wrong soldiers death has been mealiness.

There are many ways to stand up and speak against tyranny anywhere. It doesnt need to be just through a post on a defence forum, there are many effective ways. We all should utilize those, this forum is important for other reasons.

PDF is Pakistan Defense Forum, which means its primarily a defense forum for military related discussions. Somehow, it became Political Defense Forum, which shouldn't have occurred in the first place.

There are ways and means to do things. Especially when practical steps in real life are needed. Online posting plays a very small part, but does play a part since social media has become a viral propagation. Whatever came out in political threads was garbage of mental issues generating from hatred and frustration. When asked how many members actually contributed to political activates in real life, the result was disappointing.

I mentioned to HRK sometime back, its really easy to post in political threads. You honestly dont need any knowledge. Just come online, post crap one-liners, instigate discussions, abuse and curse and be on your way. You dont need to do any study, any homework, read any references, or research papers. Just post and be on your way.

Those who want to take part in political discussions can:

1. Go and make own blogs. Yeah own the responsibility for your own words and put your own self at stake.
2. Request interested members to post on your blog.
3. Copy and paste relevant posts and threads from past on your blog and continue discussions on that blog.
4. There is no need to put PDF admin or Mods in trouble. Be accountable for your own words on your own blog.

No country will let things fly around when Government and military apparatus is targeted through media. All will take actions according to their choices, options and decisions.

I think in new situations we need to learn the art of criticism. Where the words are harmless lethal.

Criticism has two sides, positive and negative. The members had a choice, they chose latter and then jumped on the bandwagon with political youtubers and twitter users who carved out every rumor as per their own imagination whether it was close to reality or not.

If you think that the digital prints stopped at MODs only then good luck to you. All the data of PDF could have been scanned by now, starting from whenever the filter was put in.

This step seems a warning only, but the rounding up of any member through previous data can begin any time, mod or not.

Yes.

You can think what you want. The world doesn't revolve on your thinking.

Here's my suggestion:

1. Post a sticky with new rules that must be followed, whatever they are, as required by the authorities. If we follow their rules then they can't object.
2. Let every member become an enforcer of those rules. If anyone breaks the new rules any other member can report it to mods and they can delete the post. There are lots of pro-establishment members who would be happy to report rule breaking posts.

That it. Members will understand that this needs to be done and will be happy to wait until the time the new rules aren't required any more.

A political agenda is where members join hands and form a party, to back a party, like backing up PTI.
How do you propose to change that thinking ?

If these members were loyal and sincere to PDF, they wouldn't have started these fireworks in the first instance. They don't care about PDF or MODs or forum rules.

Most of the fallen soldiers, their unfortunate martyrdom could be avoided if generals do their prime job for which nation pays them through their nose.

Generals, brigadiers, colonels as well as other ranked officers are included in fallen soldiers. You have decided not to see that, there is no remedy for that.
