Instead of risking losing everything in an all-or-nothing gamble you should bite the bullet and freeze the forums that have caused the most eyebrow raising.

If you have to shutdown the entire Pakistan specific ones for months then so be it. When things cool down you can open them back up.

I'm sure even the die-hards here will agree that's alot better than a complete site shutdown forever.

I have a much better idea. PDF must disallow all garbage including your anti-China topics that you post by the minute on a daily basis. If we ban political banter we disallow ALL political banter. Now that is something I could live with.

I am truly shocked at how certain members are proposing ridiculous restrictions. If you cannot speak your mind it is better to completely shut the forum. No ifs and buts. People aren't robots. People are always going to have differing views regarding various subjects.

What this reveals to me is that the security institutions in Pakistan are very opposed to criticism. These institutions cannot accept criticism. Even an insignificant place like a discussion forum where ordinary people gather to share thoughts aren't allowed to do so. It is pathetic to say the least.

That's unfortunate, we are becoming a laughing stock for everyone including the Indians, all because some people can't handle criticism. The more they will put people under pressure the more they will resist, don't they learn anything from history ?
It feels like this one institution wants to repeat the 1971 tragedy, by taking people's right to vote, chose their leader, criticize the institutions and free speech. This is utter shameful for a nuclear state which has so much potential to do on a global stage but our ruling elite are busy threatening kids and forum moderators, what a shame indeed.

i several times warned and requested Pak posters not to get involved with Indian posters particularly in the matters related to current situation in Pakistan. you cannot vent your frustration out this way.

nobody listened to me, i don't understand this double standard. why would you involve some outsider when you have a different opinion which is cleverly taken by Indians just to malign the situation and you will join them? it is a shameful attitude which must not be exercised in any form.

the other thing is i will put some responsibility on moderators too. they must have warned, declared some hard and fast rules and then take action against those who do not follow regardless of where they belong by location.

Sir, with all due respect, please stop judging pakistan. I will not say more to you. Pakistan was there before you and me were born and it won’t be changed by your judgments now. Zia, ayub couldn’t change it neither will munir or imran. All these individuals were recognized by being from pakistan not the opposite. Same goes for me and you even though we are overseas.
