A solution to Kashmir

Panditji honestly wants some solution. I wouldn't blame him, even I had thoughts of dividing regions like that.

But, then we will have more such demands from other regions, it'll be religion, language dialects, language, ethnicity and so on.

I also came across same issues. So I added cavet for the time being. Make it a special cases. Once in a century kind of stuff.

I came with this thought which is kinda funny, so listen and read it carefully.

Abolish Art 370
Division of state into Jammu-Ladakh and Special territory of Kashmir.
Jammu-Ladakh as full fledged state of India.
Kashmir as autonomous territory within indian union.

Constituent assembly formed by kashmiri representative through elections. Draft new constitution as per the liking of kashmiri masses.

What I would like to see.

Constitutional monarchy.
Party with maximum seats to form government for 7 years.
Party with maximum votes to have elected monarch for 10 years.

Remove beuracracy and leave posts of administration to either election or someother stuff which I forgot.

Like Finance minister to be elected and must possess a know how about commerce and economics.

Kashmir would be best governed as a Union Territory, under a Lieutenant Governor like Chandigarh, Daman & Diu etc.

While Jammu and Ladakh can be made into a single state of Jammu with a proper CM.

By the way, the proposal I have given above was almost decided between Musharraf and India some 15 years back.. Sad it didn't reach to the final stages.. some elements on both sides sabotaged that..

Look you tried 4 times militarily but could not free Kashmir. Instead you ended up losing Bangladesh. You are free to give it 2-3 more tries if you want.

You have been trying the proxy war thing for 40 years. It has still not given you any result. Again you are welcome to try it for 40 more years but the result will be the same.

Every year in September you go and cry in the UN about poor Kashmiris. The result - Zilch. It does not cost us anything. Please continue to do so.

I know it is hard for you to accept that India is NOT going to let go of Kashmir or conduct any referendum.

Here's a suggestion. If you really care about the Kashmiri people stop supporting them. Before you started the proxy war in 1989 there was no army in Kashmir. I think your main concern is the Army. Let me tell you one thing. No army person likes to be in conflict in a civilian zone. If there is no violence, no stone pelting, no bomb blasts, no AK 47 bearing militants then the Indian Army will not be there. It is that simple. just 3-4 years without any violence and the army will withdraw and the region will be peaceful.

Why give a serious answer to a Troll post ?
A Indian diplomat was killed in 1984 in UK by kashmiri terrorists. Their is no reasoning with fundamentalists. Its a religion thing and you can't reason with that. Think why it's only a proportion of the Muslims in Kashmir looking for azaadi and not the Buddhists or Hindus. They are also kashmiri.

I have a proposal too.. This might work..

1 - India let go of Kashmir, but keep Laddakh
2 - Pakistan let go of Azad Kashmir, but keep GB
3 - Make Kashmir an autonomous region, and request Kashmiris to give visa free entry to Indians and Pakistanis for tourism.. the rest to be decided by Kashmiris..

This is the most practical and non weed smoking suggestion so far on this thread

but as long as BJP is in power this will not be implemented I think.. Mudi/Yogi does not want to lose face !

We have seen what happens when today's "Kashmiris' govern the state for 25 years.

It would be best to be under PM Modi's direct control.
