Iran will not allow another king PlayStation to sit in Damascus and get chummy with the Jews. Syria is a red line for us. Same for Iraq. The sooner turkey understands this, the better for our relations.

Turkey and Iran (and Russia) are involved in constant negotiations about Syria, and Erdogan has given up on overthrowing Assad and have said that they are willing to resume normal relations with Assad if the three countries can agree on reforms for Syria.
