U.S. Crime Rate Rises Slightly, Remains Near 20-Year Low
A spike in murders – apparently driven by violence in Chicago, Baltimore and the nation's capital – drove an increase in violent crime in the U.S. in 2015, but crime overall still hovered near historic lows, the FBI said in its latest Crime in the United States report.
