This only happens when inter-cousin marriages are practiced continuously for several generations, which I do not think is common in Pakistan or elsewhere where inter-cousin marriages are allowed. Preference is given to cousins for various reasons but it is not an absolute requirement.

Police never arrested him. Shame on the law enforcers. If they had done their duty, these 10 people including children would be still alive. Why didn't police arrest him before?

Its happening more often in UK then in Pakistan. Ironically Pakistanis in Pakistan are marrying amongst different ethnicities compared to British Pakistanis.

Its quite bad actually. One of the largest specialist Hospital in UK has a large amount of disabled Pakistani children being treated. I think this is cruel on the children.

Problem is, certain Pakistanis living abroad are not willing to assimilate with the culture of the countries they have adopted as home. However, this is more of a first and second generation thing; third generation is different hence the situation is bound to get improved.

Hopefully it will get better. I think give it another 1 or 2 generation for British Pakistanis to be fully assimilated here.
