A major attack foiled in Kashmir

The car has JK-08 1426 number plate, which is a registration number of Kathua district. According to initial information, this number is that of an autorickshaw.

Let's analyse it

Based on intelligence inputs, a white Hyundai Santro car with a fake registration number was signalled to stop at a check point on Wednesday night, but it tried to accelerate and go through the barricade, the police said.

"The security forces opened fire. The driver managed to escape, leaving behind the car laden with IED," Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar said. "We got intelligence about a possible attack. We were looking for a vehicle with IED since yesterday," he added.

Director General of Police Dilbag Singh said.

"It (car) was kept under watch for the night. People in nearby houses were evacuated and the vehicle was destroyed on site by the bomb disposal squad as moving it would have been a serious threat,"

Now let's add it up. They were looking for it from yesterday, hence on high alert and prepared. He went through the barricade, running it down. Security forces opened fire and he managed to escape on foot, leaving behind the car.

Analyse the video, car parked on dirt road, next to main road. The person driving left it that way and the security forces didn't move it. Does it look like the parking, that some one on the run left in hurry? In the picture no damage seen on the front of the car as it ran down the barricade of checkpoint. Was the checkpoint barricade made up of cotton? Only two bullet holes on windshield, when dozens of soldiers are present at the checkpoint. And after a perfect parking off the main road and car in good condition the person managed to ran away on foot!

It doesn't add up. They just introduced the variable in the picture, i see it as buildup for something big.

It's the duty of Indian forces to foil such attacks. Thank God they aren't blaming pakistan for each and every attack. If you put people inside a cage against their own will,they will fight back and try to hit you from inside the jail. India must understand that they can't improve the situation of Kashmir with more employment and better standard of living. They should solve this problem through peace and without violence.

The 'success' seems rather odd... massive haul of IED... which could have been used in a Massive FalseFlag is now rebranded as 'successful' intelligence opeartion....

One would think with the Chinese in Ladakh ...the timing for the MassiveFalseFlag got squashed.

Good as well... innocent live have been saved by this 'successful opertaion'.

Things just don't add up with such news...

I have seen the images of the car & rear tiers suggest it was in no position to move so what were they planning to hit with a car which couldn't drive?

Probably wasn't even a false flag. For all you know some police guy planted the stuff for some promotion. Sometimes they do these things to get promoted "away" from J&K, to some place peaceful.

I doubt that, you dont "plant" 20kg+ worth of explosives to get a promotion

You also cant make that amount secretly or quickly, especially in the most militarised region on earth.

Lets say for arguments sake it was 20kg; the vehicle beat the roadblock and the attacker escaped.

I dont see how anything that happened would be promotion worthy.
