I find this extremely, extremely hard to believe. Seems hyperbolic. I know people who have went to Turkey to study; you are telling me, that they try to recruit university students for terrorism? Just what.

I think the Chinese are just paranoid about Turkey because Turkey's narrative challenges the narrative of Chinese in Xinjiang, nothing more, nothing less. Turkey is not the kind of country which or can operate proxies - never has, never will.

Maybe not Turkish government, but some groups operating in Turkey, some captured and repatriated Uighur terrorists fighting in Syria also told the reporters the first went to Turkey and some people there picked them up and took them to Syria.
