Those "good" pets can attack and kill others ( innocents ). Here's a dog in USA attacking a neighbor's boy and that boy's cat saving him.

As for stray dogs, just google for "stray dogs attack India".
India is total different situation, even stray Hindus attacking innocents.

Here is the video dog saving baby....

Cat attacking baby....

I hate those owners who take their dogs for a walk without any rope and when you hesitate from crossing the way due to the dog , the owner will keep repeating "Kuch ni kehta yar Kuch ni kehta" while by the looks of the dog you are really scared and keep looking at you.

I hate such owners more than the dogs. If you need to take him for a walk atleast tie him with a rope so that other may not feel threatened. I was bitten twice in my life, once on EID day morning time.

with respect You are so wrong about the dogs...I have two of them and they teach us humans so much..They even try to learn our language....so who is the smarter species...Adopt one and treat them not as animal but like another intelligent being and then you will see a whole new world.

Why only India ? Just google "dog attack Karachi".

Stray dogs... dogs everywhere... are the same.

Cat attacking baby....

Glanced through some of the scenes. The babies were in no danger. Their parents kept recording.

the owner will keep repeating "Kuch ni kehta yar Kuch ni kehta"

Yeah, they do that ! So callous and criminal of them !

That's wasn't the experience of RealNapster as below :
I was bitten twice in my life, once on EID day morning time.

About myself, some years ago there lived a neighbor's dog which hated me. Once I walked closed to the neighbor's side of the footpath and this dog started jumping in front of me. I faced it. If I had turned my neck to the side the dog would have gone for my neck.

Another time, when I was maybe 10 or 11, in my neighborhood there was a Pomeranian dog let loose by its owners. I was walking with my friends and this dog started barking at us and coming near us. My friends stood still but I started running and the dog chased me. There was a ditch on the road and I ran through the ditch as well with the dog chasing me. What were its owners doing ? They stood around laughing. My friends signaled me to stand still and I did. After sometime the dog went back to its owners. No apology from them.

@RealNapster.

I have two of them and they teach us humans so much

No, it is cats who teach us, which is why philosophers had good respect for them. Hazrat Muhammad, Lenin, Gaddafi etc.

Isn't one of Hazrat's Companions named "Father of the cat / kitten" ?

And there is a story about Infant Jesus and a cat.

what is your problem with dogs ? If you ever spent time and bonded with one you would change your mind...

dogs are amazing, loyal companions. dont cherry pick some random dog attack to support your hate

To begin with, please read post# 8 ( @RealNapster's ) and post# 10 ( mine ) .

As of a count from a few years ago there are 35+ million stray dogs in India. And there have been so many, so many, dog attacks on humans.

As an example, in a Central Indian town called Beed some criminal doctors have been disposing off illegally aborted female human fetuses by feeding the fetuses to stray dogs.

Yeah, "amazing and loyal" animals indeed.

so its the dogs fault that there are 35 million strays in India?

so its the dogs fault some evil monster is feeding them human fetuses?

how does that make them unloyal?

humans have engaged in every sort of grotesque activity to survive.. including cannibalism in survival situations...

If a dog has nobody to take care of them. Their survival instinct as pack animals tells them to join a pack and survive as a group.....

read the heartbreaking story of the japanese dog hachiko... who would always wait for his masters train to arrive to greet him. and when his master died of a heart attack on the train, he went there and stayed for 9 years waiting for him regardless of weather or elements..

there are endless stories like this. a dog would give his life for his master. no other animal or human is remotely as loyal...... just amazing animals

how could you hate such amazing creatures for things that are not their fault

Yeah, they do that ! So callous and criminal of them

Just like you need license to own a gun, same should be requirement for someone who want to adopt (as a pet) a dog. First training and educating the person (about safety, dog food and health etc and) on social responsibilities as a dog owner. Than issue him a license through which the person should be allowed to have a dog pet.

so its the dogs fault that there are 35 million strays in India?

It is the fault of the right-wing Indian government during the year 1999 or so whose "environment" minster, a foul woman called Maneka Gandhi, passed a law forbidding city authorities from catching and killing stray dogs. In India now a dog, whether "stray" or pet, can kill or attack humans but the dog and its feeders will not face punishment. A side effect of these 35+ million stray dogs is the almost-extinct status of cats in India.

What do you think must be done ?

so its the dogs fault some evil monster is feeding them human fetuses?

But why are these particular dogs not being "loyal" ? Why do they not reject those fetuses ?

If a dog has nobody to take care of them. Their survival instinct as pack animals tells them to join a pack and survive as a group.....

Dogs by instinct are pack animals. Whether a pet dog or its cousin the wolf.

People in a neighborhood that is infested by five-dogs per street... these people tolerating the constant noise and chaos created by dogs... these people listening to the sounds of a cat being attacked by 10 dogs... these people will as well ignore and tolerate injustices and disparities among humans. These people won't be sensitive and gentle.
