If you want to live in lies no one can do anything about itSo if a US general meets another state's leader, it means Obama has no control over foreign ministry?
Good to know.

Sri Lanka coz of early days of Operation Zarebe Adhab, wish he could manage it soon. Sri Lanka and Pakistan has good relation and we need to keep it up more strong.

Yea I know, the current one trying to change towards India as the previous one was pro China and friendly with Pakistan. That's the reason we need a quick responds from our foreign minister but he is damn no interested in over all strong and effective foreign policy (N$).Yes, of course.
But, do note that the Government has just changed in Sri Lanka.

Just a question for you........in pakistan; where is Foreign Policy (the most crucial aspects of it and wrt India, Afghanistan and such neighbors) decided..... in Rawalpindi or Islamabad?
The answer to that question will help you to understand the significance of the OP.
Yes, the foreign affairs department need a full fledge independent Minister in this crucial moments when we are in war practically and proxy wars related with Pakistan are on peak. PM job post is already a heavy job don't understand why NS didn't take it seriously.Beg your ganjaa to yield his foreign minister designation to someone capable so General raheel sharif doesn't have to fill the void of FM
He is Prime Minister as well as Chief Justice.
Such is the incompetence of 'experienced' PMLN and heavy mandate.
You mean NOOORA-UL-MOMINEEN ? LolzzBlasphemy!
You dare speak against the Amir-ul-Momineen??

Btw "Indian policymakers will be mistaken if they think that a change of regime in Colombo will lead to a dampening of Sino-Sri Lanka ties. China’s role is now firmly embedded in Sri Lanka – economically as well as geopolitically."
Tunes gets changed once facing the monster eye ball to ball, dont you know that? LolzzzReally...... to confirm whether your speculative hypothesis is valid or not; you need to speak with the new SL President Maithripala Sirisena and his new PM Ranil Wickremasinghe. They are singing a different tune already.

Actually ever since Maulana Inqilab and Khan sahib were "utilized" by their so called "umpire", there were few issues which needed to be settled with Nawaz. Coming with a delusion that Military has been restricted to its key role-even though we saw gen kayani doing the same FM stuff with US,Afghanistan,China and KSA, despite PPP having formal FM in service- he started some of the key phaddas with military machine.
1-He wanted the department of Military Lands back into civilian custody. It used to be headed by a civilian until Musharraf appointed a military person as a occupational bribe post military coup. By this, Military assumed complete command of lands in use by military. This was the first clash.
2-The supportive stance for Hamid Mir's after the assassination attempt.
3-Trying to restart the negotiations with India which the military has never supported-except in the reign of ex-gen Musharraf- However, Modi in India, coming in power on Anti-Pakistan agenda, couldn't also find it easier to backtrack on his entire political campaign. However, this expanded the vacuum.
4- Initiating the trial proceedings of Musharraf. This created a real tension between civilians and the army. Army has one rule, it protects the depends and the ex-COAS no matter how bad they have done. One of COAS impeached meant the opening of doors for not only future ones but also the past ones if necessary. This door was to be closed at all costs come what may. However, the result was an unprecedented rise in the tension between NS and the Army.
5-The mishandling of Model Town tragedy proved to be a blessings in disguise for both planners and the pawns. The day COAS met NS and was given a commitment for "shared space" on Foreign Policy and Internal/External Security, Ijaz ul Haq-The son of Ex-CoAS-, out of no where approached the PTI+PAT leadership and "made them" agree to negotiate.
Maulana was paid from both sides and left after taking his "salary". Khan sahib was left unpaid neither in power, nor in money. However, as soon as the "blessings" went away so did the impact. He made hue and cry but was shrugged off via APS opening ceremony event.
6-Altaf Bhai was used to great effect through Musharraf Channel but it seems like he also kind of met a similar fate as Khan sahib, empty handed at the end of the day with Police/Rangers rampaging through the network.
However, there were some principals agreed upon for power sharing resulting in COAS now managing the key 3 i.e. US,China and Afghanistan while India is being given the cold shoulder -for which Modi and his team is also responsible by sabotaging the FS meeting-
On internal front we already know the establishment of military courts and so forth where army has assumed the internal security. My only concern is that once starting the all out war, army will have to own it till the very end.
