I did some research on the recruitment of US military personnel inside United States. After statistics showed that if US was to go to war they would be heavily short of new recruits. However this data could be in exaggerated. Nevertheless the issue of US also concurrently inflicting heavy losses in conflicts is very unlikely. In both Iraq wars the US lost less than 450 soldier death as compared to 1/2 million Iraqi deaths in comparison.
If a country like Iran conflict with US the scenario would be how much casualties Iran could damage the highly mechanized military forces of US? Maybe this is prime reason US backed out in war with Iran?
In due response if war escalates into couple of years on the ground forces than recruitment of criminals to obese individuals by US military will be a no show at any costs.
However just for the record the US has 650k military reserves with world's greatest military might for argument against it.

A lot of people in the US make jokes of people who join the armed forces because they want a Camaro. In my opinion most do it so the military can help pay for their college.

Exactly correct. I was in university in America while joining a fraternity. Of which around 9 guys out of 29 in our group went to US forces for prime reason to buy new Camaro, Jeep Wrangler etc during the 1st gulf war of Iraq Kuwait.

The most ill-mannered, unintelligent, and low motivation Americans join the military mainly after failing out of college.

This explains both human rights violations and also why they come back home and become serial killers and terrorists.

The US military, just like any other military works with the recruits it has, not the recruits it wishes it had. And it works just fine, actually.

I've never seen a recruitment office in a non low income neighborhood.

As I said, the US military works with the recruits it has, not the recruits it wishes it had.

I was there at University for 3 & 1/2 years & I told them about Pakistan having cars and houses with electricity, it was so much overwhelming to learn how little they knew about us. They knew I was Muslim so they tagged me as one kebab type alias as one of the brothers back than. So much has changed since I left as I have heard now.
