70 years on, Bangladesh outperforms India, Pakistan

Ok bro...

BTW, should we start believing Pakistan is a terrorist breader because independent source like US of A verified so?
The worst thing happens when you believe in Americnas, check this with Iraqis and ask them Saddam Hussein better or US Uncle Sam better!

BD is too far away from Bro Pakistan, and separated by enemy indians, unless Bro Pakistani is very powerful like UK and US,it hard to hold BD and Western Pakistan together especially there is a loser india in the middle.
If powerful enough,BD could be the Falkland Islands to UK .
Anyway personnally,i like China develop relationships with any country for diverse interests.Just be carefully, india may put hand on BD when you show serious weakness...

Well, the poster I replied said: stats coming from BD about BD can't be trusted. Only independently verified stats can be trusted.

I said Ok, and asked: independent source like USA said Pakistan is a terrorist breader. So we should call Pakistan a terrorist country?

I just showed that idiot with useless superiority complex and his kind their true place.

And Bro I couldn't get your point! What you're actually trying to say?

Hmmm.. Not really, the figures given for 1950 is $615 so it kinda correlates with the GDP nominal rate of $678 for 1960 as shown in the verified link i have posted

Maybe the writer mixed up nominal with PPP

India GDP per capita PPP is $6,572.3 (2016)

@Philia A better comparison

Around the time India awoke to ‘life and freedom’, a few other countries too were throwing out colonists, monarchies and other old regimes to form modern states. In the race to progress since then, who has fared the best? We compare India’s performance on six parameters with five countries that gained Independence in the late 1940s— China (1949, Communist revolution), Pakistan (1947), Bangladesh (1947 from Britain, 1971 from Pakistan), Sri Lanka (1948) and Indonesia (1949).

I feel the charts are wrong
In average (kwh) electricity consumption both India & Pak started at same level and now also at same level
Yet growth is more in India by 1.6 times!

It's per capita.. So compare the population growth and the current population figures.. These stats are not long way off.. Also if you dont nit pick just one stat of power consumption but consider other factors highlighted as well they are pretty accurate.. Unless you post verified stats to the contrary

Because Sri Lankan falls badly low in power consumption?

What ? If Sri Lanka falls low that means they have not adequately developed that sector, thats a shortcoming of their policy makers.. What has that got to do with anything ?
