Yep, every day our border security stop Chinese trying to come into the country illegally, not just a few but it is a flood of people.

In 2016 (one year flow), immigrants from China numbered around 126,000.

Back in 2010, the flow rate was around 75,000.

So the trend is pretty obvious.

Very few return to China (I know personally in university, most on student visas apply for PR and then citizenship)...I will look for that data later if conversation continues.

I don't see Chinese "reverse migration" is on the rise.

On the other hand, I see a lot of Chinese committing migration fraud to come to Australia.

Most Chinese who migrated to Australia did ended up going back mostly because either they cannot secure a good job, or they are broke chasing the dream
