37 Bangladeshi convicts, terrorists hiding in India: Sahara

SANGSAD BHABAN, Oct 26 (BSS)-Home Minister Advocate Sahara Khatun today informed the Jatiya Sangsad that 37 Bangladeshi convicts or accused terrorists are now hiding in India.
"The government has issued red notice through the Interpol to
bring back the absconding criminals including killers," she said
replying to a query from treasury bench member Waresat Hossain
Belal. Replying to a supplementary from the same lawmaker, the
home minister said one of the condemned killers of Father of the
Nation- Resulder Muslehuddin- is also hiding in India.
"We have held talks at home minister level between the two
countries and notices were issued to find out the killer," she
said.
Answering a question from another treasury bench member
Abdullah Al Jacob, Home Minister Sahara Khatun said her ministry
would strengthen patrol in different fishing zones to prevent
attacks of the pirates.
Replying to a query from Junaid Ahmed Palak, she said her
ministry has taken a decision to distribute the illegal rickshaws
seized from Dhaka City in the rural areas through members of the
parliament.
She informed the House that a total of 74,883 prisoners including 2,743 women are in different jails of the country at this moment.
