Um excuse me, but it was the Indian Defence Minister George Fernandes who said that "China is India's number 1 enemy".

Did we ever say that about you guys? No, it is YOU who declared us to be enemies. We never did.

It wasn't China, but Nehru who declared 1962 war - The Times of India

Are you suggesting that you are making anti-India assertions not because you have an evidence but because an Indian Politician termed China as enemy???

I think one was supposed to provide a basis for all his assertions in a debate -- not because they let their judgments biased by somebody else!!!

He said that after we had lost the war
what did you expect him to say....we enjoy a good friendship

Enemy was in the sense....it can become a threat and we have to be prepared
Not in the sense....China is an enemy....let's wage a war and kill every chinese

We had gud relationship b4 1962,India vouched for China to be a permanent member in UN sc if u may remember....

So the point being there is competition and there r differences.....we don't hate the chinese but I don't see the reason why u do so

But it seems your Chinese friend was suggesting that it was India shelling at the villages specifically. Ask him if he has got any evidence -- not me!!!
