Can any bangladeshi members tell me how many Pakistani made motorbikes and rickshaws are imported into bangladesh..
Someone that visited bangladesh told me that bangladesh imports huge amoint of Pakistani motorbikew

Basically Pak exported around 2.1 mil worth of motorbikes to AFG and about 500k worth to BD. Negligible to all else.

All the countries of the world have gone through this process of two-wheelers. Rickshaws slows the entire traffic because of their slower speed comparing to other modes of transportation. But, motorbikes are even faster than 4-wheeler vehicles inside a City.

So, I do not think it will slow down the traffic. Rather, it will pull the traffic faster. Traffic congestion is caused by the mixing of faster vehicles moving with slower Rickshaws.

It won’t be “better” when the bikers drive like they are in hollywood action movies.

It means that the people are not law-abiding or there is little or no enforcement of laws because the enforcers themselves are corrupt, lazy and inefficient. Things must change for the better. A few highways here are there is not the only requirement for development. People must submit to the State rules and laws. They must be forced to do so if a country wants to claim itself a developing country.

I don't think motor cycle can be any alternative to public transport it may be a individual transport but not any public transport system . it already causing many dead in highway in future it will another great cause of traffic jam in Dhaka in spite of having more speed then rickshaw . we need to have may be subsidize rent a car for general people and of course the replacing current junk bus from the roan dna replace it with modern Bus preferably with electric bus run by 3/4 company .
